fense Services Examination is conducted by twice every year by the Union Public Service Commission for recruiting cadres for the Air Force, Army and Navy. The candidates who get selected in the exam are sent to Air Force Academy, Begumpet, Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun, Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai and Naval Academy, Goa for training. The CDS exam is conducted in two phase. Phase one is a written exam and phase two is an interview. The paper has three sections of 100 marks each i.e. the full marks for CDS paper is 300. The three sections of this paper cover General Knowledge, English and Mathematics. The questions are objective type with multiple options.
